Attendance Procedures

Our Attendance line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, call us at 480-541-6201 or we will be calling you.
 

Tardy

The bell rings at 8:15 AM and students proceed to their 1st period classrooms. At 8:20 they are officially tardy.

Per the KSD Family Handbook: Tardy is defined as arriving at school OR class after the scheduled start time. Excessive tardiness either excused or unexcused can result in disciplinary action. Please be at school on time.

Absence

Please call our 24-hour attendance line at 480-541-6201 to report a student absence. Please leave a message on the voice mail indicating the student's name, grade, date(s) of the absence and the reason for absence. If we do not receive a parent phone call, the student will be marked as truant.

Please do not call the Health Office phone line regarding absences.

 
If your child will not be attending Aprende in the fall, please log into ParentVue and complete the Online Registration to indicate your student will not be returning to Aprende. If you have any questions, please call our office at (480) 541-6200.
