The purpose of the Aprende Sign Language Club is to learn sign language, a hand gesture dependent language used by hearing-impaired and deaf individuals to communicate. The hand gestures and signs are based upon those used in American Sign Language, but used in Signed English and Pidgin Signed English, two common forms of sign language which are not as formal as American Sign Language. This will provide students with a very easy and enjoyable way to  communicate with those in our community that use sign language. The club meets on Thursdays at 7:40 to 8:10 am
