REGISTRATION:

Closes: Noon on Friday, September 11, 2025 

 *MUST SUBMIT COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION & A CURRENT PHYSICAL (Register Here)*

**Financial Assistance Applications are due PRIOR to the start date of tryouts.**

***Payments will not be made until an athlete makes the team***

 

PARENT MEETING:

Hey Jaguars, interested in trying out for the 2025 Aprende Cheer team?

There will be an informational Parent Zoom meeting held on Thursday, September 3rd at 5pm.

TRYOUTS:

Tuesday, September 15       Cheer/ Dance Clinic      6:30am           MPR

Thursday, September 17      Cheer/ Dance Clinic      6:30am          MPR

Friday, September 18           Final Try-Out     3:30pm- completion    GYM LOBBY (Students may leave after their tryout is complete)

(Athletes are free to leave after they have completed the tryout process on Friday, if you need any special accommodations, please reach out to Coach Shelton @ Cashelton@kyrene.org ) Video recording will be allowed at the END of each clinic.

Tryout Attire: Wear workout clothes. You must wear tennis shoes. No bare feet, socks or other style of shoe will be permitted. Hair must be pulled back and no jewelry!!

 

PRACTICES:

Practices will be after school from 3:15pm to 5:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

• First practice will be October 13 @ 3:15pm-5:00 pm – Gym Lobby
• One Friday practice for picture day- November 6  

 

SCHEDULES:

Games will be after school Mondays and Thursdays. We cheer at both JV & Varsity Boys Basketball games (may include tournament games)

• There will be a showcase at the end of the season with all Kyrene middle school cheer teams to celebrate the season.
